So what does Afovea mean?


The name Afovea is derived from the term 'The Fovea Centralis', which is defined as “responsible for sharp central vision”. It is the point in your eye where you have clarity, perfect colour and focus; this basically sums up the ethos behind Afovea's design ethic.



Who is Afovea?


Afovea is run and driven by Anthony Faconti. "Hi, I'm Anthony and I'm a graphic and web designer, and photographer with a good few years under my belt. I've spent many years working in design and photography for various companies in various industries and the launch of the design studio seemed inevitable. Having worked with so many great graphic artists, photographers, and web developers over the years; I was able to build a strong and reliable collective of freelancers to work with and do so regularly."


You'll often see that Afovea's projects will mention Simian Enterprises, a web development company based in Brighton, UK. They specialise in web-based back office systems and bespoke e-commerce solutions. We often call on SE for their expertise in these areas and our customers can offen not believe the man hours and money these guys can save a business."
